About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The Horizons of Education is the scientific journal edited by the Faculty of Pedagogy at the Ignatianum University administered by Jesuits in Krakow. The primary programming policy of this journal is: reflection on the man and presenting new horizons on life in the light of faith, new pedagogical chalanges and seeking the truth about the man and presenting new horizons on life in the light about the man, remain unchanged. Our chief purpose is to join those who are cincerned about the authentic education of the contemporary man. We also wish to engage in the reflection on those fields of life which influence personal formation as perceived in humanism with the emphasis on the Christian aspect. The editorial of Horizons of Education intend to invite to reflect over the issues concerning the contemporary man. We gratefully welcome pedagogues, theologians, philosophers, sociologists, but also physicists, doctors, man of the new technology i.e. all those whose main concern is the genuine education of the man.

Horizons of Education publish scientific articles, among others, in the following areas:

The journal is published based on open access policy, which allows unrestricted access to its resources in full compliance with copyright of the authors. Therefore readers are obliged to comply with the generally accepted rules of citing and referencing as in the case of the published form.

The electronic version of the journal is posted on the website immediately since the printed (original) version is published.

The article has not been published before nor is it considered for publishing in other publication (or an explanation has been presented in the commentary for the Editorial Board).
