Kiedy dobro przestaje nim być... Kilka refleksji na temat bezistocia religii
Abstract
Manfred Deselaers, spoglądający na życie komendanta obozu
koncentracyjnego Auschwitz w kategoriach ludzkiego dramatu,
zachęca czytelnika do refleksji sięgającej poza samą dramatyczną
postać. Wedle autora historia Rudolfa Hössa
daje do myślenia o roli miłości w świecie zła, skłania do zastanowienia
nad ludzkością, która została zraniona w fałszywym
katolickim wychowaniu, która została unicestwiona w nieludzkim
systemie.
Współczesne uwarunkowania społeczno-polityczne dają nadzieję,
że ów nieludzki system, oparty na narodowo-socjalistycznej
ideologii, jak i cała koszmarna rzeczywistość totalitaryzmów, nigdy
nie powrócą. Religijność jednak, która rani, jest w mniejszym
lub większym stopniu nieustannie naszym udziałem. Myślę tutaj
o religijności, która zamiast wyzwalać człowieka, pogrąża go, która
nie przez przypadek łamie trzcinę nadłamaną i gasi knot
niedopalony...
