Komunikacja interpersonalna według Ignacego Loyoli
Abstract
Praesupponendum to ignacjańska zasada życzliwości i zrozumienia, nazywana też regułą porozumienia i dialogu.
Interpersonal communication is a reality which takes place among people. It is focused on the relationship and agreement, which in the modern world are not popular because they do not happen immediately. Ignatius of Loyola, the sixteenth-century priest drawing conclusions from his own experience and knowledge paid attention to interpersonal communication, which is born in the structures of the depths of human being. Communication defines who a person is and also defines who they become. Each message a man gives to the other person has four aspects: factual content, the disclosure of self, relationships, appeal. The listening takes place on these four dimensions as well. Interpersonal communication involves relation and immeasurable effects concerning the encounter with another person. Among the characteristic features of Ignatian interpersonal communication, two texts by Ignatius of Loyola are particularly worthy of note: the text of praesupponendum and the Instruction to the Fathers attending the Council of Trent. Praesupponendum, i.e. the Ignatian principle of kindness and understanding, is also known as the rule of agreement and dialogue. The Instruction indicates the attitudes which should be adopted in Ignatian interpersonal communication. These are: listening directed towards the interlocutor, trust, respect for the diversity of others and telling the truth in the atmosphere of love. What is characteristic of Ignatian interpersonal communication is the mutual exchange, acceptance, understanding, careful consideration of what you want to say and above all trust and listening, which allow you to enter the space of the other person.
