Nadzieje i zagrożenia globalizacji
Abstract
Współczesna szkoła jest całkowicie nieprzygotowana na przyjęcie
paradygmatu wychowania globalnego. Ukształtowana jest
przez kulturę lokalną. Dobrze służy tej właśnie kulturze i społeczeństwu,
w którym funkcjonuje. Aktywnie tworzy kulturę lokalną
i ład społeczeństwa lokalnego. Bardzo dobrze się sprawdziła
jako preceptor kultury i problematyki ogólnoświatowej. To
właśnie szkoła z zaścianków lokalnego kręgu wyprowadzała
młodzież w szeroki świat, uczyła go poznawać i rozumieć. Ale
czyniła to kreując swoisty dualizm rzeczywistości i jej poznania:
na otoczenie i krąg świata swojego i świata innego, obcego. Tymczasem
w koncepcji globalizacji nie ma dychotomii i świata
swojego i obcego. Jest jeden ważny świat: produkcji, rywalizacji
i konsumpcji. Szkoła nie jest ani gotowa do funkcjonowania
w takich warunkach, ani do służby takiej strategii. Dlatego jednym
z ważnych postulatów polityki oświatowej globalizacji jest
skracanie okresów studiowania i nacisk na instrumentalny sens
edukacji.
