Nadzieje i zagrożenia globalizacji*
Abstract
Pojęcie globalizacji zadomowiło się w naszej świadomości
jako termin określający procesy gospodarcze. Najbogaciej też
jest opisywane, dokumentowane i interpretowane przez ekonomistów.
Trudno wyznaczyć precyzyjne granice czasowe powstania
lub kształtowania się zjawisk gospodarczej globalizacji.
Pierwotnych postaci globalizacji, jej archetypów wielu badaczy
dopatruje się już u Fenicjan, w starożytnym Rzymie, w średniowieczu.
Nie ulega natomiast wątpliwości, że ład gospodarczy
kształtowany po drugiej wojnie światowej nosił znamiona ładu
globalnego. Najpierw w skali regionalnej: Europy Zachodniej,
części Azji, Ameryki Północnej, a po rozpadzie ideologicznej
dychotomii świata w ostatnich 10-leciach XX wieku nabrał cech
ogólnoświatowych. Na progu XXI wieku rozwinął się w nieograniczony
żadnymi limitami geograficznymi lub ideologicznymi
system funkcjonowania gospodarki nazwanej przez badaczy
i analityków „ekonomią ery globalizacji”.
