Sportethik. Regeln – Fairness – Doping
Abstract
Sport jest tak stary jak etyka, ale łączność sportu z etyką jest
czymś względnie nowym. Można powiedzieć, że sporty i etyka
mają tę samą ojczyznę, jest nią Grecja. W 776 roku przed
Chrystusem zostają po raz pierwszy zorganizowane igrzyska
olimpijskie starożytności. Posiadały one religijno-kulturowy charakter.
Dzisiaj znaczenie „igrzysk nowożytnych” jest inne, inne są
też formy powiązania sporu z etyką.
Sport stał się w ostatnich dziesięcioleciach fenomenem niezwykłym
i to w podwójnym sensie. Po pierwsze jest adresowany
do mas, uprawianie sportu jest na czasie, należy do sposobu
bycia nowoczesnego człowieka. Po drugie jest adresowany do
super sportowców, wydarzeń i osiągnięć przekraczających granice
zdrowej wyobraźni.
