Rozważania dotyczące „narracji” prowadzone są już od czasów starożytnych. Pojęcie to przewija się przez całe dzieje namysłu nad ludzką egzystencją i jej sensem. Roland Barthes (1966) twierdził, że narracja towarzyszy człowiekowi od zawsze, była i jest z nim wszędzie – obecna w mitach, legendach, baśniach, bajkach, powieściach, dramatach, filmach, komiksach, rozmowach…References
