Enerpreneurship of the University as the Challenge of Modernity – The Trends of Changes
Abstract
Higher education undergoes constant changes triggered by various global, international, national and regional forces. Diverse factors contributed to the transition from a traditional model of university towards a model of entrepreneurial university. Therefore, the following questions have become crucial: What factors have contributed to a paradigm shift in the direction of the entrepreneurial model of higher education? What are the main features of the entrepreneurial university? What changes in the functioning of university can arise after the introduction of the model of entrepreneurial university? The aim of this paper is provide answers to these questions.
