Book review: Catechism According to Blessed Edmund Bojanowski.(2023). A. Kiciński (Ed.). Zgromadzenie Sióstr Służebniczek BDNP.
Abstract
Edmund Bojanowski, who lived and worked in the nineteenth century in Wielkopolska, was the initiator of integral education, covering all spheres of human life, from physical, through intellectual to spiritual. By establishing the Congregation of the Sisters Servants of the BDNP and a network of nurseries for rural children, he created his own preschool education program, which has not lost any of its relevance to this day. The Catechism published by the Congregation of the Sisters Servants also draws from the richness of Bojanowski's thoughts and statements, which is a response to the great demand for this kind of work on the part of families and other educational environments.
