Hiperlękowość przekazów informacyjnych w mediach
Abstract
Artykuł odnosi się do tezy wybitnego niemieckiego filozofa Petera Sloterdijka, który zauważył, iż głównym celem mediów jest podniesienie adrenaliny na skalę masową. Rzeczywiście, jest dzisiaj zapotrzebowanie w społecznościach na wydarzenia tragiczne. Najlepiej sprzedają się ludzkie dramaty. Historia mediów pokazuje wiele przykładów cynicznego wykorzystywania takich zdarzeń a przestrzeń medialna zdominowana przez kilkanście kanałów telewizyjnych o zasięgu globalnym wypełnia się tą treścią w tempie błyskawicznym. Mimetyczne oddziaływanie telewizji na odbiorców sprawia, że mamy do czynienia ze zjawiskiem naśladowania złych zachowań na skalę globalną.
