Shaping Entrepreneurial Attitudes among Secondary School Students in Preparation for the Labor Market Activity
Abstract
The School is, in the twenty-first century, geared not only for teaching, but also to develop skills useful in a society based on knowledge. The aim of the article is to show the importance of developing entrepreneurial attitudes among secondary school students in relation to the current requirements of the labor market. In the first part of the article the author describes what characterizes the attitude of entrepreneurship - what qualities a man enterprising, what is the formation of such an attitude, and what is an effect. Then the author analyzed ways to promote entrepreneurial attitudes by school pupils and the practical skills they acquire during the course and during participation in school life. In the following part of the paper the author presents ways of shaping entrepreneurial attitudes, the role of the teacher in this process and an entrepreneurial approach to education. An important element is to identify the obstacles that stand in the formation of such attitudes - the restrictions resulting from the curriculum, poor attitude of the teacher in relation to the learner and the learning process, or the marginalization basics of entrepreneurship. The last part of the article is devoted to the skills currently most desirable in the labor market and are offered guidance as to how the school could effectively implement the students to actively participate in it.
