The Mirror World of Individualism of the 2.0 Generation
Abstract
In the process of becoming original, thinking freely, independently, seeking tools and method to realise the individualistic attitude, an individual more and more often finds them in the virtual world. It is primarily the young generation who see the Internet in terms of the unhindered opportunity to realise their own rules of freedom, development, autonomous thinking and acting. Therefore, the Internet is becoming a plane for articulation, externalisation, and even certain kind of exhibitionism of individual experiences, sensations and reflections. The aim of the article is to confront the attitudes and aspirations of the 2.0 generation with the methods of conduct adopted by them. Since it is assumed that there is a distinct disparity. The 2.0 generation, brought up according to the rules of individualism, realise the adopted and accepted social goals, with the use of universally applied methods. However, they appear to force into common patterns rather than create an opportunity to go beyond their frames, which is presented on the example of blog.
