Praca jako droga rozwoju i odpowiedzialności w autobiografii Alice von Hildebrand
Abstract
Głównym tematem autobiografii Alice von Hildebrand zatytułowanej A Happy Failure jest jej praca w charakterze akademickiego nauczyciela filozofii. W artykule zostanie poddana analizie droga jej rozwoju zawodowego w kontekście instytucjonalnym oraz jej rozumienie własnej odpowiedzialności wobec studentów. Drugim wątkiem tej niezwykłej biografii, ściśle splecionym z pierwszym, jest jej rozwój filozoficzny pod wpływem relacji z Dietrichem von Hildebrandem, jej nauczycielem, a później mężem, współpraca z nim w dziedzinie twórczości filozoficznej oraz poczucie odpowiedzialności za przekaz jego dziedzictwa. W tekście autobiografii jako kategoria podstawowa w pracy nauczyciela, warunkująca jego rozwój i będąca przedmiotem jego odpowiedzialności, jawi się kategoria prawdy.
