Peter Kauder, Alfred Petzelt. Pädagogik wieder den Zeitgeist
Abstract
Alfred Petzelt, tytułowy bohater książki, należy do klasyków
niemieckiej pedagogiki. Urodził się 17 stycznia 1886 roku
w miejscowości Rzadkowo koło Poznania1. W latach 1919-1923
studiował filozofię, psychologię, fizykę na Uniwersytecie Wrocławskim.
Tam też w 1923 roku uzyskał stopień doktora na
podstawie pracy pt. Zur Frage der Konzentration bei Blinden.
Promotorem pracy był Richard Höningswald 2. Siedem lat później
uzyskał habilitację z psychologii, której podstawę stanowiła
książka Vom Problem der Blindheidt. W latach 1930-1939 pracował
m.in. w Uniwersytecie Wrocławskim, wykładając psychologię.
Po wojnie był dyrektorem Instytutu Pedagogiki Teoretycznej
w Uniwersytecie Lipskim (1946-1949), a w latach 1949-
1955 pracował w Uniwersytecie w Münster. Należał do wielu
towarzystw naukowych. Zmarł 25 maja 1967 roku w Münster.
