Użyteczność koncepcji alienacji ericka fromma w kontekście analizy społeczeństwa współczesnego
Abstract
Artykuł prezentuje podstawowe założenia krytycznego ujęcia nowoczesności autorstwa Ericha Fromma. Centralną kategorią w omawianej teorii jest pojęcie alienacji. Alienacja stanowi najbardziej charakterystyczny rys osobowości człowieka nowoczesnego. Autor próbuje odpowiedzieć na pytanie w jakim zakresie możliwe jest zastosowanie koncepcji alienacji Fromma w odniesieniu do społeczeństwa współczesnego.
The article introduces the fundamental assumptions of the critical presentation of modernity by Erich Fromm. The central category in the theory discussed is the concept of alienation. Alienation constitutes the most characteristic trait of the personality of a modern human being. The Author attempts to answer the question: To what extent is it possible to apply the Fromm’s concept of alienation with reference to contemporary society?
