Edytorial: Moc i niemoc myślenia
Abstract
Zasadniczą funkcją ludzkiego rozumu jest myślenie. Proces myślenia przebiega w mózgu i polega na skojarzeniach, używaniu pamięci, korzystaniu z pewnego zasobu informacji i na tej podstawie konstruowaniu wniosków, które nierzadko mogą się okazać iluzoryczne czy błędne. Z procesem myślenia związana jest także refleksja i dialog. Niektórzy uważają, że miarą myślenia jest inteligencja człowieka. Rozróżniamy też pewne kategorie myślowe, jak: pozytywne i negatywne, twórcze, strategiczne, indukcyjne, dedukcyjne, abstrakcyjne, logiczne i wiele, wiele innych. Kategorie te zależne są od przedmiotu, który „przerabia” rozum w procesie myślenia, jak również ich celowości. Już sam Kartezjusz początkiem XVII wieku w słynnym stwierdzeniu: cogito ergo sum (myślę, więc jestem) przypisuje tej zdolności człowieka funkcję zasadniczą, bowiem ściśle związaną z jego świadomością i bytowością....
